Quicker

The Challenge

Keeping pace with a fast-evolving sales-tech market across a wide range of projects

Role

Design across the board (product, corporate, sales materials)

About the Client

Quicker Inc. is a startup that builds products and services to streamline sales, under the mission “turn painful work into meaningful work.” Miniru acts as a de facto in-house designer, producing everything from the product to corporate sites and sales materials.

Responding to every request, quickly and reliably

Quicker's vision slide — building a new communication platform between sellers and buyers

Under the mission "turn painful work into meaningful work," Quicker Inc. builds and ships products and services that make sales work more efficient. In the early days I produced prototypes for validating needs, the corporate site, and more. Since then I've acted as a de facto in-house designer, making everything from the product itself to Zoom backgrounds.

The global sales-tech market — estimated at over ¥60 trillion — is one of the fastest-moving spaces in tech. With many competing players, it's vital to move agilely from demand validation all the way through to shipping a product.

So I often hear requests like "I want to show customers a mockup to validate a new feature this month" or "I want to launch the new service's website by the end of next week." Answering them as fully as I can, over and over, is a simple loop that quietly compounds into results.

Built without engineering effort, and easy to update after launch

The product site built in Studio, pairing each selling point with its own illustration

I built the website that serves as the face of the company and product in Studio. Handling everything from design through launch myself meant engineering effort was essentially zero.

Content that updates regularly — press releases, seminar info — is set up CMS-style so non-designers can edit it while keeping the design intact.

To date I've produced nearly ten websites in total.

Capturing user needs quickly and accurately

The mockup master file: every list state and popup built out, ready to put straight in front of users

The fastest route to a great product is hearing users' reactions — but without something tangible, it's hard to draw out concrete feedback.

A designer-made "mockup" dramatically raises the quality of those interviews while keeping time and money costs to a minimum.

It's a great fit not only for validating new businesses, but for updating existing products too.
